    Titans Wycheck Sprains Ligament

    January 13, 2000

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee Titans tight end Frank Wycheck, who set up Kevin Dyson's 75-yard return with a cross-field lateral, sprained a ligament in his left knee and will be questionable for the next round of the playoffs.

Wycheck injured his left knee in the first quarter of the Titans' 22-16 AFC wild-card victory Saturday over the Buffalo Bills. He sprained the medial collateral ligament, the same ligament he sprained Oct. 31 in a victory over St. Louis.

Coach Jeff Fisher said Sunday that Eddie George also was banged-up with a slight concussion and a strained neck and ankle.

``I'm sure he'll bounce back,' Fisher said.

Punter Craig Hentrich also strained his neck when he made a tackle on the final play of Saturday's game, a kickoff to the Bills following Dyson's 75-yard run.

The Titans play at Indianapolis on Sunday.
