By the Associated Press-- Jaguars linebacker Hardy Nickerson had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, an injury that will probably keep him out of Sunday's game against Seattle.Nickerson has already missed three games with the injury. He had the surgery last Friday, a bye week for the Jaguars.
Most similar operations take about three weeks to heal back to playing shape.
"I'll look at it on a day-by-day basis," coach Tom Coughlin said.
Third-round draft pick T.J. Slaughter has been filling in for Nickerson at middle linebacker.
Nickerson signed a four-year, $16 million contract with the Jaguars. Despite his injuries, he is second on the team in tackles with 75.
