I am in a similiar situation. I am four weeks following ACL/PCL meniscal repair, but also had an MCL tear that healed itself. They used cadaver ligaments for the ACL/PCL. I too am only at 90 degrees flexion and experience intense pain above and on the inside edge of my leg. The pain runs right under one of my incisions. I am certain it is scar tissue, but there is also a muscle that runs through there (vastus medialis). Today I measured at 105 (only once) and though I feel the progress is slow and painful I'm hoping it will speed up when I begin weight bearing. I think the best exercise I've found is to lay face down, have someone use one hand over my hamstrings (the doctor doesn't want me engaging my hamstring because of the PCL work) and uses his other hand to slowly bring my leg up until I can't take the pain anymore and I have them hold it for several seconds, release and repeat. I don't know if there is a way to push the flexion without it hurting, I just try to make myself relax and breathe through it. My leap from 90-105 has taken two weeks of working it for at least an hour a night doing various painful stretches, in addition to the PT I'm doing. I'm amazed at how painful and slow it is. Good Luck!

I am 4 weeks post op from a knee reconstruction and am struggling to get to 90 degrees of flexion. The surgeon used a patellar graft to replace my PCL and a hamstring graft for my MCL. The pain when strecthing my knee and trying to get flexion is pretty high and I expect that, but I haven't made the progress that I'm imagining I should be making. Scar tissue around the knee has reduced as I get away from my surgery date, but the tightness, expecially above and to the inside of my knee cap is still there. Should I be making more progress and how can I get there?
