I torn MCL, ACL,not PCL and patella 15 yrs ago at age 15. Make sure you get the best OS to do your knee. My Os didn't finished my ACL repair, so i live without the ACL for this past 15 year. But it will be a fight to bend your knee due to lots of scar tissue. I am able to run on it without ACL today, thinking about getting and ACL done too. I was scared like you, thinking that i will never be normal again and be walking with a limb, i prayed at that moment i was just able to walk normal. But thanks god, I was able to walk normal and run again. I haven't done any active sports since. just run, swim, bike, and a little basketball. I wear a elastic knee brace. good luck with you.
