What is DP Lotion-HC used for??

Hello everyone, I have a relative who suffers from skin disorder and has been prescribed DP Lotion-HC http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3415-s-DP.aspx but he has experienced these side effects while being on the medication:
bruising
acne
When we checked about the side effects of the medication on the website I mentioned above, we found that these are the side effects which occur while using DP Lotion but now my cousin doesn't now whether to continue the medicaton or not?? What should he do?Continue the treatment or stop it??Thanks beforehand for any advice...
