Hi there, I am a 32 year old male, who has has over 9 surgical procedures. My right knee was replaced back in May 2004 with a lateral uni-compartmental knee replacement. Surgery was great till the middle of August of 2004, at which time my medial compartment had blown up due to a slight over correction. At the time of my lateral replacement my medial compartment was not pristine but it was determined that it would hold up. I have now had over 6 opinion from some of the best surgeons and they all agree that the best opion is Arthrodesis of the right knee. I have not been able to locate anyone in or around my age group that has had this procedure. I am married and have two young boy's that are 8 and 6. How difficult are stairs? What modifications have to be made to your vehicle? Orthotics? Walking/running ? Thanks so much. Todd
