Anyone suffered from Acanthosis Nigricans

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I need some suggestions regarding this:
I think that I am suffering from Acanthosis Nigricans. Well, I am obese for my age and on top of that I like to eat all stuffs with sugar. I noticed that my neck and under arms have an abnormal coloration, that is, it is dark and the skin also seems to be thick. I am not sure about that but I would like to have the diagnosis of an expert and I a friend of mine told me to visit this site:http://www.jdhealthcare.com/dermatology.html#2 which I did and I found that in at this clinic they treat people who suffer from Acanthosis Nigricans and they have the latest technology apparatus. Would you advise me to go there? Has anyone done a treatment against Acanthosis Nigricans? Is it safe??
