synvisc

I am 66 and was told today that both of my knees were 'gone'. I wish I could find them...lol I have a lot of pain and I am a candidate for tkr but I am going to give the Synvisc a shot or rather they are going to give me 6 shots 3 in each knee. I am very discouraged by what I am reading about the injections but then I am very discouraged by what I am reading about the TKR and variying recoveries.
