Good to hear all of the positive results as I've put off total knee replaement surgery and want to try the injections first. I know I need the TKR surgery at some point - but would like to put it off as long as possible, I'm 55 years old. I work full time and would have to take months to heal from the surgery so the shots seem like a good choice at this time for me.

Hope you are all doing well. Would be interested to hear how you are doing a few months after the shots.

I just found this site.
I have had Synvisc injections recently. One knee is much much better, the other is much better.
I encourage you to give it a try.
www.synvisc.com is a great site and can help you to make an informed decision.
I've been telling everyone about my experience with Synvisc. I'm so glad I received the injections.

HI I,VE JUST BEEN TOLD THAT THE INJESTIONS YOU HAD MIGHT HELP MY PAIN. I HAD SURGERY FROM A MENICUS TEAR AND NOW THE DOCTOR SAYS I HAVE OSTEOARTHRITIS, MY CARTILAGE IS GONE. THE PAIN IS SO BAD AT TIMES I CAN,T EVEN WALK TO THE BATHROOM. SINCE YOU HAD THE INJECTIONS , DO YOU FEEL THEY MIGHT HELP ME.

I may be one of the lucky ones but the 3 shot treatment has really helped my pain and the burning is about 85% better in my knee. I need a replacement but trying to avoid it as long as possible. With health insurance the cost is low and while the injections are not pain free , at least for me and a friend it was well worth the time and pain. I'm not cured but my pain level is alot better. Good luck to all Barb
