I am new to the forum.

In summary.....I am from the UK, I am 45 years old, married, and a father of 2 boys aged 15&11.

I have had 5 surgeries on my left knee (no cartilage at all for 20 years) and 2 scopes on my right knee. I have have been told I need a knee replacement for the last 5 years and have been seeing the pain management doctors on maybe 10 occasions. I have tried the full range of creams, potions from the net, NSAID's, pain meds, patches. Both my knees hurt a lot, and now my right hip!

I teach martial arts/judo in schools, I have my own school, and I still participate in wrestling, judo and jiu jitsu activities. My legs and knees are strong and flexible when I am on the floor...but I have terrible pain on walking. I am not overweight and am feeling very old, depressed, in pain etc etc. Doing exercise and doing it with my kids is my life.

I am looking for any information I can on any new treatments that are out there that people have tried. HGH seems to be one that seems to crop up a lot, but I am fairly sceoptical because knowing my luck it will make something go more wrong. Many bodybuilders I know swear by it for their reasons. I am not interested in looking younger, building muscle, losing fat etc...I just want to have a life where there is less pain.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
Andy
