In the news today:Excess Vitamin C may Make Osteoarthritis WorseI am a 38 yr old recently diagnosed with a bone spur in my ankle.A few days ago I had an x ray to show another bone spur in the cervical spine c4. I have read about high vitamin c intake which I have been taking for allergies/infections.I have been taking for almost 6 months over 1000 mg, but problably on an off previously through the yrs as well. I have read it may cause bone spurs. Is there a way to revert the bone spurs by taking something that will degenerate the bone spurs due to this active transforming growth factor b protein ? THANK YOU Christine
