I will ask the doc and if no satisfaction I must get something else done.

I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time. I was worried about my left knee supporting my weight, since it had only been a little more than a year since I had surgery on that knee. Sorry about your shoulder.
I pray that your pain eases and getiing around gets easier for you.
I am very fortunate to be able to walk everyday, mostly pain free.
Hopefully, your good days will soon outnumber the not so good ones.
Ask your doctor about Euflexxa injections. Maybe they would help you like they have helped me.

I took it real easy with walking after the 6 weeks non weight bearing. Then I had a shoulder surgery that I had been needing for a while. I seems to be recovered well, but this knee is different. If I feel better one day and walk a bit, then I will hurt and only hobble around a bit for 3 days or more until I can stand it again. Thank you for responding. I'm 42 and feel like my life is over. My MD gave me Zoloft to calm down but I still am worried sick. Not sleeing much. Its a burning pain that seems to radiate up the thigh. My good knee gets sore from me standing on it most of the time.

I also had Microfracture surgery done in February of this year.
I had surgery on the other knee in October 2005 (meniscus tears).
I must be one of the lucky ones, I am not pain free, but close. I have had injections of Euflexa in both knees since the surgeries, and I am convinced that has helped.
I am in my fifties and have a large stature, I was concerned about my age and weight after the Microfracture procedure. I was worried about my left knee (meniscus surgery) having to support my right knee (Microfracture) for six weeks, I just loved the walker, NOT!!!
I hope your pain subsides, I did not have any pain until I had been walking a few days after my six weeks non weight bearing. But I am able to walk two to five miles a day. My doctor just told me not to walk too much one day, that I could not walk the next day.
Good luck, if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me.

I had microfracture surgery on feb22 so that makes me about 4 months out. I have been hoping to get back to work soon in some capacity since I have been out of work about 5 months now. In that last week I have tried walking more and with that came pain from the knee that had the surgery and from the other knee taking up for it (if that makes sense). I have been sore in both knees for 3 days and went and saw my othro surgeon today and he says that I just overdid it. He proscribed some different nsaids and told me to hang in there. Does this sound about right?
