I live in Canada and have a year wait to get in to see my doctor for a consultation for post op. I didn't see him for a 2nd time after my surgery because my PT wasn't going so well and by the time I got my knee to a decent place I had to reapply to see him. Even to see someone in the private clinic takes months. Basically I think I might be healed but I dont want to push my knee until I know.

My question is to anyone who has had a successful repair (don't know why they would be reading this forum), my knee doesn't lock like it used to but there is still a little catching sensation when i do certain stretches or kick my heal to my butt. I can' t do full squats and sit on my heels with no discomfort at all but if i try to sprint for example there is a catching feeling that stops me. However there is no pain associated other than the initial popping, before the surgery if i locked my knee for a moment there would be significant pain but not now.

Basically I'm thinking there is just scar tissue built up and the the tear is healed....has anyone else had a similar experience or know anything about this issuse?

I also wonder if there is a kinesthetic difference between these movements because I even have hyper range of motion with my flexion that has no locking feeling when i sit on my heal but when i kick my leg back I feel something that wouldn't allow me to train sports.

I wonder if I could break down the scar tissue or if perhaps I should ignore the issue.

thanks
