Ok, well I jumped off a stage maybe 4 or 5 feet high over a month ago, and when i hit, i felt this tremendous pain in my left knee that hasnt left yet. Ive gone to several doctors, had x rays and MRI's, and the final diagnosis is a torn meniscus. The pain was almost gone at one point, but then I had to drive my car (manual transmission) for a half hour or so, and the pain came back. I'm pretty confused just because she pointed to the inside part of my kneecap to where the tear was, but at times, i can feel pain on the top of my knee cap, below my knee cap, and on the outside. She said it wasnt so bad, so i should just give it time to heal, but I dont know what to do to help it heal. PT seems like it would only stress the tear and make it worse, but thats what everyone recommends. What should i do?
