I am sorry to hear about your surgery, although you are not alone. There have been a number of people who have experienced more pain after their surgery, and you can read more about how they handled this pain here. If you have more questions, I would suggest getting another opinion, and you can find a physician near you using our Physician Finder. Good luck and I hope your knee feels better!

Recovery time varies from person to person. If you're concerned, then you should discuss your symptoms, as well as your options, with your surgeon.

I had a bucket handle tear on my right knee inner medial meniscus and had surgery back on Dec 1st.Well my knee hurts worst than it did before the surgery.I can barely walk up stairs.I cant sit down with my knee bent.I have to have it strecthed out.I still cant squat. Is it a sign that my surgery was a failure?Do I need my meniscus replace?
