I'd advise to avoid any surgury, if there are options. Blood clots that cause problems as serious as fatal pulmonary embolism DO happen. (I'm speaking from personal experience.)

Hello, My husband has a L3 tear of his MCL. He was told to wear and knee brace and it should heal in a month. My husband (who enjoys being athletic) wonders if he would get a better result if he were able to have orthoscopic surgery? Any thoughts? Thanks, Cathy
