Hi, my name is Audra, I'm a 29 year old female and I live in Arizona.
I got hit by a car on Saturday night (7/19/08) while riding my bicycle. I fractured the tibial plateau in my right knee. I have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on 7/31/08. The ER doctor didn't give me much information about the tibial plateau or what kind of surgery I'm looking at. I'm very anxious and my need to know something, anything, about this type of injury is driving me nuts.
If anyone could give me any type of information or share their experiences I would greatly appreciate it.
