i had my l/t done approx 4 1/2 months ago - although i can bend it with no problems i cannot straighten it without extreme pain - driving or getting up stairs is a nightmare my physio tells me there is nothing they can do so i feel like i am fighting a loosing battle

I had the same problem. It has been two years now and I still have some pain when I walk in sandals or flip flops. It is nothing like it was. It does take a long while to get back to normal, but it is worth it. I am about to have the left knee done in a month. I had the right knee done than I needed to wait two years to do the other.

Hi
I had a Lateral release done 4 months ago. Since the surgery I have been in constant pain , unable to bend my leg and the swelling is unbelievable. My phsio says she can do no more for me. My knee is far worse now than before the operation. Has anyone else had the same problems ?.
