Colleen, As I am all too familiar with the road to recovery because of my mcl tear/subsequent surgery, I'm sure your post op recovery will take time. May I remind yuo that patience is a virtue. As far as a tkr after a patellectomy, I am not personally familiar, but I did find an informative scholarly article on the subject matter. Hi there, Anyone had a total Knee replacement after having had a patellectomy 25 years ago? Mine is scheduled for January and then the other knee one week later. Thanks for any advice, Colleen
