Hey everyone boy have I been through it. I was diagnosed with an Osteochondral Impaction Fracture of the MFC a year ago. I had MFX surgery, and it failed. I was then sent to a specialist to have OATS performed. I came out of surgery with no OATS the OS said my damage was too extensive. Ok so now I am going to have a unichondral knee replacement. Turns out not only did I have the one lesion I actually had kissing lesions. So the new OS says that the uni will take care of the problem. My surgery will be robotic assisted. I had a CT scan a week ago, that info is put into the computer of the robot, and it guides the surgeon on exactally where to place the replacement. The recovery time is suppose to be a lot quicker and easier. The incison is about 3 inches. Well I am really looking forward to getting my life back, but I am scared too. I will let yall know how it goes. Michele
