Becky,

Way to go girl!!! I had Bitkr on aug 19th 2008 and I was back to work fulltime in November. I work my knees on a recumbent bike and bowflex at least 4 times a week. I can't wait until Spring I am going to buy a trikke three wheel scooter (trikke.com).

It goes to show that this operation can have wonderful results. I have not regretted having both done at the same time.

Keep up the good work!!!

Nick

I had bilateral total knee replacements on 7/2/08. Yesterday, I rode my bike outside for about 5 miles. I took it slowly and coasted more than I used to, but it was heaven being outside with the wind on my face again. At 7 months post-surgery, this was more than I had hoped for!
