Dhome: My guess is that it's an ACL injury, but there are a number of things that it could be from your description. You can browse these conditions and see what best matches your symptoms, but there's not much you can do until the MRI results come back. I hope it's nothing too serious. Let us know what the results are.

I slipped on a wet floor and both legs went out in front of me. I immediately had sharp pain on the medial inner side of my right knee going up to the center of the knee. Pain has persisted on walking, any kind of twisting or side to side motion, and especially straightening the knee, which hurts the most. Pain/burning and swelling is worst in the morning. I took an MRI but won't have my results back for several more days. I am taking Advil and ice packs.
What kind of injury does this sound like? I'd like to know from your experience what you think I injured.
Thanks
D
