I am a 65 yo male. Weight 230
I have severe pain when I start to go up steps in my knee. I refer to it as my knee popping out, but I'm not sure what is happening. The pain lasts for a minute or so. My right knee really hurts when this happens. I have had similar problems with my left knee but the pain was not so severe. It happens when least suspected. If I think about it and get ready for this to happen ,it doesn't. Maybe my muscles are not so relaxed when I'm ready for it to happen. I know losing weight would help but is there anything I can do to prevent it getting worse in the meantime? Thanks
