I had a knee injury with severe swelling and I understand how it can be confusing and painful, especially if you can't find a solution.

Since this is an old post, may I please ask if there are any solutions you have found since posting this?

I did appley's test for minescus tear because some of the symptoms were evident. However, the swelling seems to be located at the proximal end of the fibula. It is more discomforting then severe pain but, there is swelling. Im not sure why this swelling is there? I run, play sports, and I am able to flex my knee (with some discomfort and sweeling is more obvious when I do flex). I'm not sure how I should treat this.
Can anyone help in understanding?
