hi.i'm 31 and i had the same problem in my early twenties. I was a coollege football plaer till age 22. i tore all the cartilage a meniscus in my right knee. After the artroscopic surgeries i had the same popping. I went to a sports mediicine specialist in birhmingham, AL. (www.asmoc.com). The doctor found that the popping was from the little cartilage i had left rubbing between the two bones. He also relieved the pressure on my I.T. band. the surgery helped and theirr facilitesare second to none. most pro athlrltes go to this group for orthropedic problems. Their # is 205-939-3000. i hope this helps.

Hi people ive had a knee problem for a few years now and was wondering if anyone could help me. I know i should go doctors but theres a reason i havnt. Anyway its on both knees and on the inside of them(right ones worse though), in the morning and throughout the day they can become stiff 3-5 times sometimes more. To get rid of the stiffness i leave my foot flat on the floor and twist my leg inside so the knee cracks which is quite loud then the knee is fine again for a couple hours. There no pain only every so often i get a little ache. Now after a few years if i lift my leg up and shake it the knee sort of keeps clickin. Any idea whats wrong and what i could do to fix it? Oh and im 19 n lived a normal life. I neva get pain not even when i play sports or go running but i want to join the armed forces and im worried it could stop me.
