I cycle year round and do extended tours in the summer. I have been diagnosed with ITB syndrome and my doctor told me the only solution is surgery. He never mentioned physical therapy or stretching. How do I go about finding out what is available before I agree to have surgery. My bicycle is my mode of transportation and I only experience pain on long tours. It's been a problem the last 3 yeasrs and I've been doing this for about 15 years. Thanks
