I am a 58 year old female who until 4 years ago was an active cycler and runner. Many years ago I injured my right knee playing soccer and damaged the lateral meniscus. My doctor removed 30 to 40 percent of cartlidge which had extruded from the knee joint just 4 years ago. Although I have no knee joint pain, my right leg bends in toward the center at the knee and causes much pain in the lower leg and on the inside of the knee. A foot specialist said I have a form of IBS and gave me othotics. I do daily IBS stretches which relieve the pain almost instantly, but it always returns. I cannot ride a bike or walk without my leg being forced to the center and I live with pain. My x-rays show no bone-on-bone problem. Please help as I feel I am too young and active to be using a cane.
