I wrote the above thread. Since then I have gone to a neurologist and was told I had nerve damage. The test showed that the damage was improving. The anterior delt and the scapular muscles are atrophied. I can raise my arm to about 45-60 degrees but I don't have strength to hold it up in that position. I use a RS stim on it 1-2 times a day and Russian stim on it 3 times a week at therapy. How long should this condition last? The doctor said it will keep improving. I know I'm impatiant because I need to get back to work. Any help or replies are appreciated. Thanks.

I had a total shoulder replacement on my left shoulder 4 months ago. It seemed I was making progress at first then the joint and arm stiffened up. There was a lot of scar tissue so I had to have a manipulation procedure. The joint still was stiff as before and it seemed like it wasn't gliding in the new cup. I have very little movement in my arm now. Now I found out there is nerve damage. Has anyone else experienced this?
