knee info

Hi, I have been just diagnost that I have a dislocated knee cap a MCL tary and fishers on my meniscus . I live in canada and this has been going on for five moths I have had three sets of x-rays and a MRI done and nothing was diagnosed. I have been in unbalevable pain and unable to do anything. I am awaiting surgety but it could be up to two years. I can't walk unless on cruches and an house bound. I am going crazy I am very active I run a horse farm and work out at a dairy farm now I can't even make it to the barn. My question for help is waiting so long to fix this problem will it cause more problems in the future. how will it affect me in my horse back riding and will I ever be able to handle being throen off with out hurting it some more. I am 25 and have already had rurgery on my l knee now my r knee is 100% worse. can anybpdy give me ansews. thank you
