I had a similar surgery 3 weeks ago. I had a maquet combined with a lateral release. They cut my shin bone and i had 2 screws put in. I still have to wear my brace for at least 3 more weeks, but i'm slowly putting more weight on my leg now. I hope all goes well with your surgery!

Hi,
I'm not sure what that is called, but it sounds similar to mine....they broke my tibial tubercle and realigned it. Good luck on the 21st!!!

i dont no the main word for the op all i know is that they have 2 break 2 bones move my knee across and put 4 screws in to hold it in place hope u get on ok 21st of june i go in bye

hi all well first time i dislocated my knee was when i was 20, twelve years later it came out again would u belive it just getting in 2 bed. i was in plaster for 6 weeks 1 week later came out again 8 times after that then i had lactual relese op all was going well until 6 weeks later then it has come out again it has dislocated 3 more times since im waiting for another op now i just hope it works this time
