Hi, I wrote out a (rather long) response to you a couple of months ago, but it would not post (kept getting error messages), have just re-tried and still won't post (forwarded error messages to system administrator about two months ago without response). It's too long to re-write out. If you e-mail me, or post your e-mail address to the site, I will forward the info on to you. And yes, I can definitely sympathise!! Liana.

Well, as I am writing this I currently have my knee/leg in a mobilizer thing, and was told that it would be 6 weeks before I could fully bend and use my knee/leg. I am hoping to hear others for what I was told that I was double-jointed in my knees and my hands and that's why my knee comes out. The first episode was VERY traumatic, I was 18 and my left leg went one way, knee went the other and well in total between age 18 and I will be 31 this year my left knee had popped out at least 7 times, but the last 5, I get mad..(ha!) and pop it back in, gross at first but I do it, I also noticed I am more ceceptiple to it if I have drank heavily..(it's like my limbs also get "drunk') The bad news is this time was the FIRST for my right knee to pop out, so now I am aware that neither one of my legs I can rely on at this point. Have others been told if they are double-jointed that their limbs "pop", I am so afraid to get surgery, the doctors say even if I do go through with it, because of my double-jointed-ness it won't make a difference. Do I have to become a bodybuilder with legs like tree trunks so my knee dosen't pop out?... will consistant excercise of my leg limbs lessen my chances?.. Any advice is appreciated...
