Hello. I am 31 female. Had medial parrtial meniscectomy 4 months ago in Russia. It was an old trauma which after 15 years suddently blocked my knee. So it was almost no pain and swelling but lack of stability in the knee and block. So surgery went well and range of motion was back quik, I was told not to do anything but a little walk for 3 weeks and then to start straightening the knee. There were no brace or crutches after surgery. I was just told to walk 10 min every hour and no more than 1 km a day. Well Russia lacks phisical therapy really and I had zero advise in which muscles to train specifically. I started to do everithing I can imagine to straighten the knee. I have some questions please: Which muscules should I give preference? Should I avoid jumping (I do kick-boxing aerobics and jacks make me uncomfortale) How much excersise is too much for the knee? Should I pay attention to this dull pain after I work out? Should I wear the BRACE? Will overexcersising of some specific groups of muscules place more pressure on the knee? Is Yoga good for me? Because it feels paiful afterwords when I do deep knee banding/stratching. Looking forward for your answer. Sincerely Elena
