only advise I have for you is when the dr takes the xrays, have them take a set of you standing up. they usually take them when you are lying down on the table. my specialist who did my knee replacements says you cant really tell what is happening unless you see the whole weight of the body on your knees.....good luck

I have swelling underneath my kneecap on the left leg. The Doc is calling it swelling of the upper tibia. What does that mean? The swelling is rather painless but still frightens me. The Doc had me take x-ray's and currently I am waiting for the results and scared. Any advice would be appreciated.
