please go to a specialist right away. This can be very serious. My sister had it and it burst. The infection spread and we almost lost her. This web site should have information, so I wont try and explain it. Please dont delay. best wishes.

Without wishing to sound silly, why is it called bakers cysts? I ask because my husband has this condition and is actually A BAKER by trade - is this common to bakers?
