I saw youre post and was wondering if your symptoms were anything like mine. I am tryignt ot figure out what is causign the problem, and my doctor is not real helpful.

Here is the overview:

-- No injury / trauma to my knees.
-- Started on the right knee and now in both knees.
-- Right knee worse than left knee.
-- Symptoms: No pain other than when I kneel on the
floor or apply upward pressure on the bottom of the
patella (knee cap) with my fingers. When I apply
pressure, the knee cap does not hurt, but I get a
sharp pain on the side of the knee area (electric /
buring / sharp). When I stop kneeling, it more or
less goes away.
-- Intensity: On the right side, the pain can be
intense (like a dentist drilling a tooth severe).
More of an electric shock on the left side.
-- Other Observations: No cuts, tears, discoloration,
swelling. No trouble running, walking, squatting,
lifting,m sitting. BUT kneeling is definately
impossible.

My health is otherwise pretty good (39 years old, on
and off prostititus, no cancer history, no diabeties,
no allergies, a little over weight, not too athletic,
but go to gym regularly for stair climber).

Do you have any additional info? Again, my doctor doesnt
know what is going on and I think we need a little
help.

Thanks,

Thomas
