In the news today:Glucosamine may not have Long-term Pain BenefitsIn the mid 90's I had a bi-lateral knee patellectomy. In the late 90's there was a bomb threat at my place of employment and my dr. at that time never told me that I would never be able to go down stairs. I began to do so, and all of a sudden I lost feeling in both knees and needed help down from other co-workers. Since my hamstring was attached to my patella tendon I had considerable damage in both knees. I've also had numerous surgeries. Now because of long use of crutches both shoulders have deteriorated and I've had to have surgeries on both (twice) torn rotator cuff, spurs etc. Dr. Schepsis, in lew of having nothing what can be down. Now my hip joint is getting involved. Liz Curiel San Antonio,Texas
