Its me, the guy that gave you the previous exercises. Here is another one that seems to be helping. Use the machine at the gym where you spread your legs (to work the out thighs and hip muscles). And also do the inverse exercise where you start with your legs spread and then contract them together. 3 sets of each 12- 15 reps.

Yo. My doc diagnosed me with chondromalacia patellae. Here is the workout to rebalance the muscles in your leg. lay down on a hard flat surface lift injured leg (keeping it straight) about 6 inches off the ground and hold it for as long as you can (e.g. 1 min 30 seconds) then do the same with the other leg. do this in the morning and then at night. Each day add 10 seconds. When you get to 5 minutes add 1 pound of weight and do it as long as you can like you did that first day. And then work your way up adding 10 seconds each day again. You have to do your exercises every day. If you run the boston marathon, you still have to do the exercise. Try it out. So far so good for me.
