Well went to the OS today and she is setting up OATS surgery April 20 or 28, she'll let me know in a few days. She said she'll do a diagnostic scope, to make sure the defect hasnt gotten too big. If it hasnt she will go ahead witht he incision(7 inches) and do the OATS, she said she'll prob do a lateral release at the same time. If the defect is too large she will close up and arrange for the allograft. I will be in a CPM machine right after surgery as well as an ice machine. NWB for 8 weeks, and out of work for 4 months. Now that kinda stunned me. But whatever it takes, I am practically ecstatic about going ahead with this op. Im sick and tired of not having my quality of life and this pain is unbearable. So anyone out there with OATS stories please hit me back and let me know how yours went and how you are fairing now. PEACE & LOVE Michele
