I think I have exactly the same thing as you. I have had mine aspirated about 10 times and my knee feels like a pin cushion all to no avail. I'd like some advice on what to do?

For the past few months I have had a rather large "bump" on my left knee. After conferencing with my MD, her thoughts were bursitis. She sent me to an othopedic surgeon who gave me the same diagnosis. The knee has no pain at all, however, the "bump" does get larger with increased use. The orthopedist gav me 3 choices: 1 - leave it as is ( it is not attractive because of its size) 2 - aspirate it ( with a 60 - 7- % chance of reoccurance) 3 - surgically remove the bursa I chose option #2, and he aspirated it during the office visit at 10AM. By 4 PM that same afternoon, the fluid and "bump" were back, and the size was as it had been prior to the aspiration. There is still no pain associated with the "bump". Any ideas or advice would be helpful in seeking a treatment for this. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
