I was recently diagnosed with bursitis in my right knee after an altercation butween my knee, and a parking meter. Presently, im working as a bike messanger, and am passionate about cycling in all forms, so my knee is pretty important to my current lifestyle, and staying off of my bike for more than a day or two is out of the question. Although it doesnt cause any serious pain, it doesnt really feel "right." Is there anything i should or should not do (in terms of diet, bike set up, or general care) to encourage more rapid healing, and to help prevent this from reoccuring?
