bursitis

I have pain in both knees only when I am bending them. I have had this condition for about 10 months. They get better but it never completely goes away. I use ice and heat and rest and a drug my doctor persribed. I was told it is bursitis. I am tired of not being able to use my knees like before. Will it ever get completely better?Will glucosamine help bursitis? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
