Swelling in and around my knee

I am not sure if what I have could be bursitis. My knee is swollen in the front and also in the back of my knee. The knee seems to tighten up when i am sitting for a while. Taking ibuporfin alleviates the discomfort. Could this be bursitis even if their is swelling in back of my knee? If not what could the swelling be from and what should I dothe get rid of the swelling?
