Bursitis?

Hi, I am a college student and all throughout highschool I played volleyball. I have experienced knee pain off and on throughout this time and at this moment my knee has been bothering me. It does not hurt when I place pressure on it, but rather when I bend my knee or make turning movements. Also the pain is located underneath my knee on the lateral side. I also have brusing, but I have not hit my knee. I am wondering if this is bursitis or a more serious condition where I would need to go and seek medical help. Thank you for your time.
