Has anyone had surgury for severe chondromalacia patella? what is the best surgury for this? can you do Cartilage implantation? microfracture?

I have and it has been nothing but a nightmare the long term prognosis for patellar lesions is awfull but for some reason my surgeon never told me that. Be very carefull if anyone tells you it will work, I am now going to have to have knee replacement surgery due to the mess it has caused.
