I will be having a procedure called Autologous Chondrocyte Implant. I'm very nervous about the results. On March 18th 2002 I will have arhtroscopy to biopsy cells to harvest and then in 6 wks. I will have the second procedure. I'm 38 with 2 children and because of a severe dislocation and a large bone chip I've not really walked for a year. My surgeon feels this is my only option, however the recovery is painful and long. Has anyone been through this and what are the overall opinions? Thank you. Bonnie Russ
