This knee locking thing must be a common side effect of the surgery. I also had it happen to me. Mine is now intermittent, two months later. Does it ever stop altogether?

I had the exact same problem as you described after arthroscopic surgery. Did you ever get it resolved? Please email me at dudley@sisna.com.

I had an arthroscopy on my right knee 3 weeks ago (28/7/2005). It was flushed out as no structural damage was detected. I do have grade 1 wear on one of my joints (not sure which one).

I have severe locking of my knee when it is in the straight position. It seems to be relatively ok when bent. I have tried the physio exercises religiously but it odesnt seemt o be making any differences. I have also been trying stretches as my knee cap might not be tracking properly (the physio gave me these stretches before surgery to promote correct tracking of the patella).

Does anyone have any suggestions????? I’m really worried.
