I know what you mean, I have had that happen to me with other types of sports injuries, but guess what - I'm not a masochist, but you learn to cope with the pain, and most importantly not let it defeat you at anything you do. That's what really makes the difference, in my humble estimation. Take care.

Why why why do I still have pain and swelling a year after surgery. It's really weird I'll be sitting in a chair and my knee will throb then I'll go skiing and I won't feel a thing. I'm going to start working out everyday to build up my quad will this make some of the pain and swelling go away???
