Hi John- I had the same symtoms post-ACL reconstruction 3-4 after I had my surgery. I had my surgery in 1985. And still to this day, I have problems kneeling & squatting on the particular scar area. I have been told that it is tendonitis. I just have massages in that area, which has decreased its irritablity & sensitivity, as well as break-up the calcification. Take care- CC

Hi, 4yrs Post ACL Reconstruction, I am still having pain on the anterior knee / patella tendon, slightly below and to the inner left of my graft scar. It feels like it is a small ridge, and my chiro's analysi of my xray, is that it is some calcification. It is very painful to knee on this and slightly less painful to squat on this one leg. Do I have Patella Tendinosis/itis or what could it be, if not? Thanx, John
