Hey thanks for the advice, 6 months out now and I'm laughing all the way back to full fitness, really picked up the rehab over the last two months and knee feels as strong as the non-injured leg. touch wood it stays like that!

Ahh back knee pain... This was the most annoying pain/tightness I have ever gone through! I first experienced it when I started running and It killed! It will go away so just keep ur attitude positive and ice was my best friend during this time.. Just stretch your knee really well before a workout and take a jog to get it loose before you start your excercises and ice after your workout.. as far as hamstring reconstruction goes leg curls are going to be your bread and butter and squats are a very good all around excercise. Just keep fighting the good fight, have a positive attitude, and work hard and you'll be back to 100% before you know it!
Hi All I had acl reconstruction surgery (hamstring Graft) on 1st Dec 2009 to fix a re-tear in my left knee. The rehab has been going very well up until last week when I started running and now my hamstring is very sore at the bottom of it/top of the knee. It is hindering me from running and building up my hamstring. anyone have any advice on good exercises that can help rebuild a hamstring? any info would be much appreciated. Many thanks Thetarf
