okay i had my ACL surgery with the hamstring graft a while ago, had my year of hard work and recovery, went back to playing soccer and realized i needed my meniscus cut out.
Went back had THAT surgery, sixth months passed and Doc and Physical therapist said everything looked okay to go back.
THEN, i went back to playing, and my knee continously kept hurting and swelling. As a result i went back to ask my PT whats up, and he told me that my ACL was questionably loose that he highly recommends another reconstruction to tighten it up in order for me to keep a healthy lifestyle as I grow up.
So i was wondering what he meant by that, I have made an appt with the doc but im itching to KNOW!
Will i have a sequel to the first surgery? Or is there any way they can go back in and tighten it up somehow without completely making another ACL.
ps if this matters, i got quite a lot meniscus taken out, and since my ACL is so loose, when i do anything that involves it, my bones are hitting together making so called "pot holes" in my bone that could lead to a knee replacement.
